Bonding Procedure
Dental bonding (also known as Cosmetic Bonding) is a great alternative for porcelain veneers and can be used to fix chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth. This is one of those great technologies that restores the aesthetics of your beautiful smile while improving the function of your teeth as an added bonus.
How does the Dental Bonding procedure work?
The tooth is prepared for the procedure by lightly etching the surface and applying a cosmetic bonding liquid. Once the liquid sets, a plastic resin is applied and sculpted into the desired shape by the Melbourne Florida dentist. Once set, the resin is trimmed, smoothed and polished to a natural appearance.
Procedure Considerations
The dental bonding procedure can often be completed in a single dental office visit and can improve the appearance of a tooth significantly. However, since the plastic resin used is not as strong as your natural tooth enamel, it is more likely to stain, chip or break than natural teeth. Dental bonding typically lasts three to five years before the need for repair or further cosmetic dentistry service.
Porcelain Veneers faqs
Porcelain veneers are the simplest and most predictable way to improve the aesthetics of a great smile. Whether you have misaligned teeth or intrinsic stains, veneers have the ability to change the shape and look of your teeth with the newest and most advanced dental technology found here in Florida. Porcelain veneers are strongly bonded to the teeth; they are as easy to maintain as your natural teeth.
Will they look like normal teeth?
When bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea, or even cigarette stains. For strength and appearance, their resemblance to healthy, white tooth enamel is unsurpassed by other restorative dental options found here in Florida. How durable are new veneers?
With proper care, porcelain veneers will brighten your smile for well over a decade.Dr. Brazdo your Melbourne FL Dentist will ensure that your veneers are crafted from the highest quality porcelains and are bonded with the most advanced and proven cosmetic dental materials available here in Florida.

Invisalign Clear Braces
Invisalign is an alternative to braces that can be done on a case by case basis by select cosmetic dentists. If you have a minor misalignment, Dr. Brazdo your Melbourne FL Dentist may be able to help you straighten your smile with Invisalign. These clear aligners gradually move teeth to improve not only the look of your smile but to improve your bite as well.
Invisalign uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. The aligners are made through a combination of Dr. Brazdo’s expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology.
You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Brazdo has prescribed.
Some cases will need to be referred to an Orthodontist.
